Establishing these scholarships holds great significance for us. Traditionally, we have been able to focus our efforts in three ways: engaging youth and military communities while striving for inclusion. We hope that this Scholarship Program becomes a light for new opportunities, hopes, and dreams for students across Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
2026 Scholarship Opportunities
Junior Golf Alabama / Junior Tour Scholarship
Our Foundation has been a supporter of the junior golf in Alabama and the Florida Panhandle since its inception. Engaging the next generation of golfers will always be paramount to our mission of serving the game. Therefore, we established a scholarship for students who have been a member of the Alabama – NW Florida PGA Junior Tour anytime from 2010-2022 or a participant in Junior Golf Alabama events since it began in 2023.
PGA Professional Family Scholarship
Since the Foundation is directly connected to the PGA Section, this scholarship was designed to give back to the heartbeat of our Section – the PGA Professionals. These men and women are on the front lines of making golf special for thousands across our Section, so we decided to include a scholarship honoring them and their families. This scholarship opportunity will be awarded to any student directly related to a PGA Professional who is a Member of the Alabama – NW Florida Section (family members include sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc).

Established in 2020, the Alabama – NW Florida Golf Foundation Scholarship Program exists to encourage and promote the attainment of higher education for youth who have demonstrated a high level of achievement during high school or college, have financial need, and have shown interest in the game of golf. Ultimately, the Foundation exists to create life-changing opportunities through the game of golf – we believe these scholarships are helping us fulfill this dream.
